Director of Content & SEO
Reports to: CEO
Date: 3/17/2026
The ONE Thing
Own the content and SEO engine that reliably turns PI law firm websites and media into signed-case opportunities.
Core Function
The Director of Content & SEO leads the strategy, team, and systems behind all organic acquisition at Case Engine. This role connects content, SEO, and answer engine optimization into one machine that consistently grows qualified PI case leads and improves retention for our clients. You design the strategy, build the playbooks, and manage the team to execute at a high standard, fast.
Poised to 2x by 2027 by helping over 200 law firms dominate their markets, Case Engine is on track to become the market leader in answer engine optimization for law firms. Our team is hungry, smart, fast and ready to scale aggressively. If you’re driven to be the best and want to work with top performers while delivering exceptional results for clients, then Case Engine is the place for you.
Role
The Director of Content & SEO owns organic performance for Case Engine and its PI law firm clients. You lead a team of strategists, analysts, editors, and writers to build and run content and SEO systems that win in Google, maps, and AI surfaces. You are accountable for the roadmaps, playbooks, and results: more qualified case inquiries, stronger local authority, and durable organic growth. You think in systems and checklists, not one-off campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Own the organic growth strategy across all PI client accounts, including content, SEO, and AEO.
- Translate company and client revenue goals into clear organic targets and roadmaps.
- Lead and manage the Content & SEO team (hiring, coaching, reviews, capacity planning).
- Standardize playbooks, templates, and checklists for content strategy, SEO, signals collaboration, and reporting.
- Ensure every client has a clear content and SEO plan that is prioritized, resourced, and executed on time.
- Oversee quality of key strategic assets: site architectures, topical maps, flagship pages, and critical optimizations.
- Partner with Signal, Dev, and Account leadership to align entities, local, and technical work with content plans.
- Own organic performance reporting and dashboards; review trends and intervene early when accounts slip.
- Work with Sales and Marketing to support case studies, proof, and thought leadership content.
- Stay ahead of changes in search and AI surfaces that impact PI and adjust playbooks accordingly.
Requirements
- 7+ years in SEO and content strategy, with at least 3 years leading a team in an agency or performance environment.
- Proven track record driving qualified leads and revenue from organic search for service businesses.
- Deep understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO fundamentals, local search, and entity-driven strategies.
- Strong experience building and managing content systems, not just writing or editing.
- Comfortable with analytics and SEO tools and turning data into simple, prioritized actions.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and manage high-performing content and SEO teams.
- Excellent communication skills; able to present strategy and results clearly to executives and law firm partners.
What Success Looks Like
- Case Engine clients see consistent, measurable growth in organic case inquiries and signed cases.
- Every account has a documented, executed content and SEO roadmap that the team can follow without guesswork.
- Content & SEO playbooks are standardized and used across the company, reducing variance and firefighting.
- Organic performance becomes predictable enough to factor into growth planning and retention strategy.
- The Content & SEO team runs on clear KPIs, operates with high accountability, and is known as a top-performing unit.
Our Core Values
These values define who we are and how we operate at the highest level. The right person for this role will embody these principles daily, use them to drive decision-making, and demonstrate them through relentless execution and results.
Be The Best
An innate hunger to want to be at the absolute top of your field. It is number one for a reason. Those who embody this value have killer instincts, are meticulous and detail-oriented, work hard until the job is done, and understand the true value of reputation in building something exceptional.

We’re resourceful means you don’t make excuses or wait for perfect conditions – you get creative and get it done.
Money Loves Speed
